Answer: SerialComm fiber optic converters presently come with two connector options: ST and SC. ST is a keyed connector that looks like a BNC connector. SC is a square plug-in connector with a locking tab. When purchasing a fiber optic converter, specify whether you want ST or SC type connectors.
