12) HOW DO RS232 PORT POWERED CONVERTERS DERIVE POWER?

Answer: Our RS232 to RS422 and RS232 to RS485 port powered converters extract power from the RS232 TX line using a capacitive charge pump circuit. It is not necessary for TX line to transmit continuous data to power the converter.
